THE HIRER IS FULLY LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES HOWEVER INCURRED
WE CAN PROVIDE INSURANCE
- The first time you hire at Tow It Trailers we WILL ONLY ACCEPT Credit/Debit Card payment, the card must be in the Hirer's name and address.
- The Hirer must produce both parts of their valid Drivers Licence, The V5 log book for the towing vehicle and a utility bill of less than 2 months old. All in the same address as the Hirer's payment card details and all MUST be original copies.
- A Photograph of the Hirer will be taken and retained by Tow It Trailers.
- Copies of the documents produced will be made and retained by Tow It Trailers during the term of the hire.
- The hirer shall inspect the trailer prior to hire commencing in order to establish any pre-existing damage sustained by the trailer.
- The Hirer is liable for the FULL COST OF REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR to the trailer in the event that the trailer is lost, stolen, damaged, impounded or involved in an accident during the hire period.
- Any losses must be reported to Tow It Trailers as soon as they occur and where appropriate to the Police.
- The Hirer is responsible for the safe loading of the hired trailer and that it is appropriate for its intended use.
- Tow It Trailers provides no training as to the use of the trailer or any straps or winches provided these are used entirely at the Hirers own risk.
- The trailer must not leave UK mainland without prior written consent from Tow It Trailers.
- When unattended the trailer must be kept in a locked compound or locked onto the towing vehicle and fitted with a wheel clamp attached to a rear wheel. Tow It Trailers will provide a wheel clamp with every trailer hired free of charge, this must be returned complete when the hire period ends.
- The trailer must be returned in the same clean condition. Tow It Trailers reserves the right to levy a £15 SURCHARGE if the trailer is not returned cleaned to an acceptable standard.
- The hirer is responsible for ensuring all UK Road Traffic Laws are adhered to in connection with the use of the trailer (driver qualifications, weight limits appropriate to the trailer and towing vehicle)
- In the event the hired trailer is impounded, the hirer shall be solely responsible for any charges accrued during the process. Loss of hire will be charged at the daily rate.
- One day's hire is any period upto but not exceeding 24 hours.
- All returned trailers must be booked back in and inspected. Under no circumstances whatsoever will any returns be left outside Tow It Trailers premises.
- Any hirer not adhering to these terms will not have their deposit returned and will not hire from Tow It Trailers at any time in the future.
